Webelos Woods

Event Status: Postponed as of 9/2/20 tentatively to spring of 2021.

Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 meeting restrictions, we will not be able to have Webelos Woods this fall. Look for future updates in the Heart Beat and on our Facebook page. 

Webelos Woods is an overnight family camping weekend for Webelos or Arrow of Lights Scouts and their parents. During the weekend Webelos will have an opportunity to:

• Earn an Adventure Pin taught by professionals in the field and other experts,
• See Scouts, BSA troops doing scoutcraft and visit their camps
• Cook their own supper and spend a night outside
• Have fun and get a taste of Scouts, BSA camp.

During the day Saturday Scouts participate in Adventure classes and camp programs. Parents are welcome to quietly sit in on classes.

Art Explosion, Build a Better World, Engineer, Into the Woods, Earth Rocks, Build It, First Responder,

Adventures in Science, Webelos Walk About*

*Important Prerequisite – the scout and parent will need good shoes for hiking as well as a nutritious lunch and water to bring with them. Course is offered only in the morning. Limited to 20 scouts in total.

You will be asked to rank your scout’s top three choices in the registration section.

Please register your scout/parent pair first and then add on additional adults, scouts or siblings.
