Late Winter Last Minute Virtual/Actual Klondike Derby

This event begins on March 5th and runs through March 28th. You may participate at any time. 

Participants must register as a unit. No individual registrations please. 

With the current times so uncertain, we are all practicing social distancing. While this is limiting social gatherings and many activities, Scouting continues! A team of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers have put together a full month of great events to bring a little bit of Scouting fun each week to you at home. We know you will enjoy what we have planned!

We welcome you to the Heart of New England Late Winter Last Minute Virtual/Actual Klondike Derby!!!! A month long celebration jam packed full of activities, adventures, and events! Do one or all and discover the boundaries of our new Districts, while discovering your own abilities!

All are welcome to join us for these events. Do you have some friends from school or your neighborhood that are bored at home because their usual activities were cancelled? Invite them to the Klondike. Maybe they’ll decide to join your unit after seeing how much fun everyone has.

Our events will be mostly on the weekends so that everyone has a chance to get outside during the day and (hopefully) enjoy the snow, sunshine and fresh air. Each event and activity is something different. You can do some or all based on your interests! Some events are meant to be done as a den, or patrol: each can be customized to meet current Covid-19 safety protocols.
