The Heart of New England Council of the Boy Scouts of America has selected Deborah Weymouth to receive its Distinguished Citizen Award for 2019.
Deborah Weymouth serves as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. The hospital is a member of UMass Memorial Health Care creating a super-regional community hospital providing a full continuum of high-quality healthcare services to the residents of North Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
The Distinguished Citizen is chosen for his/her long standing commitment to our communities. Their efforts have helped improve the quality of life for thousands of people who are less fortunate. Their tireless leadership, energy and vitality have been a true inspiration to all who service within numerous charitable organizations. The values learned through the Boy Scouts are much the same as the values held by our Distinguished Citizen.
