Camp Ambassador Training 2024

November 16 @ 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

Free

What Is the Heart of New England Council Camp Ambassador Corps?

The Camp Ambassador corps is a group of trained and registered Scouters who volunteer to serve at one of our council camps (Camp Wanocksett and Treasure Valley) whenever Scouting and non scouting groups are using any part of the camp property. Camp Ambassadors select their own time and frequency of service, but they usually serve one to two weekends a year.

Camp Ambassadors serve from 6:00PM Friday evening to 11:00AM on Sunday morning. During the weekend, they reside in the CW Director’s or the TVSR King Cottage.

If you are interested in learning more about Camp Ambassadors, and possibly joining the group, now is the time to do so! We have training planned on Saturday, November 16th from 8:30AM to 1:30PM in the Council Service Center for new and existing Camp Ambassadors. It is a great way to meet new people, and help customers of the camp feel more welcome.  The Camp Ambassador can assist new units in locating the location of the facility they rented, as well as help even return customers learn more about the camp.

Please RSVP by completing the ticket below. Refreshments and Lunch will be provided.

Any questions, please contact Bill Williams at william.williams@heartofnewenglandbsa.org or Kelly at the email below.
