Belt Loop Midway: Virtual Cub Scout Adventures

While schools are closed and many Scouts are at home, counselors have stepped up to the plate to volunteer their time to help continue the mission of Scouting. Heart of New England Council is coordinating Pack volunteers to help to lead your Cub Scouts, Webelos and AOL’s to earn Adventure Belt Loops. Each session is estimated to be about hour in duration.

Each session is free, but we will be accepting donations. 100% of donations collected will go back to the Heart of New England Council to help support our Campership Fund. The COVID 19 outbreak is changing many household’s financial situations, thus leaving a greater need for Camperships. Please choose the amount you feel comfortable paying and know that it will directly support families.

Registration will close one day before the class is scheduled to begin. Adventures with only one registered Scout will be cancelled to comply with Youth Protection. Video instruction will be completed via Zoom. Visit https://zoom.us/download to download the app before the class begins. You will receive instructions from your counselor via email before the course begins. Counselors will keep track of requirements digitally and communicate them to your Cubmaster at the conclusion of the course. The Pack will present your scout their actual Belt Loop or Pin at the next in-person Pack Meeting.

You will receive an email with a list of necessary supplies prior to your session start time from your counselor. If you go to register and you see an “out of stock” message, then that means the class is full.
