Transportation Logistics
Once contingent members sign up, we’ll start to plan our trip to the conference. Travel details and touring are totally planned by the youth attending the conference. The contingent can decide to drive out (or charter a tour bus if a large enough contingent is organized) and tour along the way, or we can decide to fly to TN. All of the options allow for the contingent to decide what they want to do along the way. Travel days on either end of the conference will be between 1-3 days and determined by method of travel and touring options.
Cost
Previous trips to NOAC have cost between $1,100-$1,500. A firm price will be determined and published this fall once the conference fee has been released, and the contingent has met to plan the details of the trip, including transportation and touring. All costs for the trip will be determined by the contingent. Payment schedules are encouraged and scholarship/fundraising opportunities are available.
Deposit
To reserve your spot in our contingent, we’re asking for a $150 non-refundable deposit. You can pay this online or by mailing a check to the council service center.
